This drill adds a more competitive twist to mini tennis as well as a realistic fitness component (short quick movements of up and back). Four players start near the service lines and one player (X1) begins the game with a courtesy feed. All balls must bounce and be played within mini tennis boundaries. X1 then runs back and touches the baseline. Each player must run and touch the baseline after he/she hits a shot and players on a team must alternate hitting.
Variations:
All shots must be hit with backspin
If you have six players the extra player on each side rotates in either after each hit or after the point ends.
